Sales Executive

Department – Sales
Reporting to – Sales Manager/Director

Purpose of Role:

To provide pro-active office based account management of new and existing sales opportunities and support the activities of the Sales Team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain regular contact and relationships with existing account base
  • Support the Business Development function
  • Make appointments and manage diary for current account base
  • Understand client needs and recommend solutions
  • Produce and follow up quotations
  • Work to agreed sales targets and profit margins
  • Update pipeline and sales forecasts
  • Undertake follow up activities to marketing
  • Liaison with internal departments
  • Update customer details and activities on CRM system
  • Other tasks that may arise in carrying out the role

Essential Requirements:

  • Self motivated
  • Highly organised and professional
  • Confident and articulate
  • Good computing skills
  • High standard of Maths and English
  • Excellent telephone manner

Desirable Requirements:

  • Sales or Account Management experience
  • ECDL
  • Good IT/Technical knowledge
  • Experience of working in education sector
  • High level of accuracy and efficiency
  • Ability to prioritise
  • Team focused
