Sales Executive
Department – Sales
Reporting to – Sales Manager/Director
Purpose of Role:
To provide pro-active office based account management of new and existing sales opportunities and support the activities of the Sales Team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain regular contact and relationships with existing account base
- Support the Business Development function
- Make appointments and manage diary for current account base
- Understand client needs and recommend solutions
- Produce and follow up quotations
- Work to agreed sales targets and profit margins
- Update pipeline and sales forecasts
- Undertake follow up activities to marketing
- Liaison with internal departments
- Update customer details and activities on CRM system
- Other tasks that may arise in carrying out the role
Essential Requirements:
- Self motivated
- Highly organised and professional
- Confident and articulate
- Good computing skills
- High standard of Maths and English
- Excellent telephone manner
Desirable Requirements:
- Sales or Account Management experience
- ECDL
- Good IT/Technical knowledge
- Experience of working in education sector
- High level of accuracy and efficiency
- Ability to prioritise
- Team focused
